The commercial is found on YouTube rather than the Nike web site or Tiger Woods’ web site. Check it out, it’s that unusual.

Tiger Woods also did well at his first tee. The only problem was the plane that flew by with a banner. The banner read “Tiger: Did you mean bootyism?”

A quick fly by joke in combo to Tiger’s Buddhist beliefs and his past booty calls. But Tiger did what he came to do, play golf.

N.C. Winter Storm Update!

According to SnoZanderZone’s OMG!Snews mother nature is going to give North Carolina the smackdown!

North Carolina should prepare for the winter storm that has been slowly traveling across southern U.S. this week. Wichita, Kansas has closed schools in some locations due to the snow event.

Kansas.com supplies the latest Wichita school closings. Put Andover, Maize and Haysville on that list. Goddard has also closed schools and offices. Friends University doesn’t want to be left out in the cold, classes are closed.

North Carolina is happy to announce that their snow event lands on a weekend. How convenient is that? Therefore, you will not hear of any school closings from them, just as of yet.

This snow event should drop freezing rain, sleet, ice and snow onto N.C.’s green. A beautiful site in prediction is about to unfold.

Shaniya Davis Case Update: Investigators Find Sexually Explicit Photo In Mario McNeill’s Phone

Yes, a Judge has unsealed more information surrounding the investigation of Mario McNeill in connection to the murder of Shaniya Davis.

Here’s the rundown – Mario McNeill had a sexually explicit photo of a black girl in his phone, but it wasn’t Shaniya Davis.

Shaniya Davis’ older brother spoke to investigators of seeing Mario McNeill in their house.

The case against Mario McNeill grew by the time investigators gathered computers and other items linking to the Shaniya Davis case, including Mario McNeill’s phone where investigators found another little girl’s, said to be under 10-years-old, in a very unusual photo.

Controversial Anti-Abortion Ad Coming to Super Bowl XLIV, What do you think?

Super Bowl XLIV will be showering Miami with Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints fans as the festivities will display quite a day on February 7, 2010. Free Wi-Fi will be available compliments of Cary’s Signal Share so that fans can enjoy this football game to it’s fullest extent while passing along information to others outside of the stadium.

But what could turn a fun filled event into a serious topic of conversation? Try the anti-abortion commercial.

Football star Tim Tebow’s mother decided to give birth instead of having an abortion as suggested before Tim was born. The Tebow family is telling the world their story during this year’s Super Bowl via commercial.

Commercial? Many await each year for the best of Super Bowl commercials where the participants fork out thousands of dollars just to produce a commercial to earn a spot to be seen. That’s one true competition that will not be able to give this Tebow commercial an abortion.

Tebow is not the person behind this commercial, he’s just the star of that short viewed showing.

It does not excuse the fact that people go to the Super Bowl to route for their team, not to route for deep issues.

If this commercial airs, in which it has been confirmed it will, here’s what we are looking at in the future of commercials during Super Bowl games all thanks to freedom of speech.

Where did these commercials come from? Freedom of speech. Due to freedom of speech this Tebow anti-abortion commercial will air. Considering the fact that I am all for freedom of speech, why during the biggest game of the year?

Many can cheer Tim Tebow’s mom on for her decision. But let’s face it, children should be given the chance just as much as fans deserve when watching the Super Bowl.

Thank you to the Tebow family for exploiting their situation on a time when a funny Dorito ad could have been viewed instead.

Three Mile Island Unit 2 Generator Moving To N.C.

Three Mile Island is best known for the Three Mile Island accident of 1979, just 4 months after Three Mile Island Unit 2 went commercial. As many know the Three Mile Island has offered fear in the late 1970′s as it released radioactivity into the air.

But what’s this? The actual Three Mile Island generator from Unit 2 is moving to North Carolina? It never fails, everything is moving from the north to the south.

What happened in 1978 and 1979?

In late 1978 the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant was opened for business. Not long after in 1979 Three Mile Island suffered a partial meltdown releasing radioactivity into the environment. To many that are not nuclear savvy it spelled big troubles for those in surrounding areas and within the range of the Three Mile Island accident.

Some claim that the Three Mile Island accident couldn’t have caused any health risks or issues, but that’s not what Dr. Steven Wing from UNC states in a 1997 report.

Three Mile Island (TMI) had 2 units, 1 & 2. The 670 ton generator that is being shipped to N.C. following an upgrade process. The TMI-2 electric generator must be restored and inspected before the big move.

Earthquake News & Updates: Jan. 18, 2010

Just 6 days after Haiti’s 7.0 earthquake hit the shimmers and shakes are settling down and headed towards other locations across the globe.

Such as the life of an earthquake. Just as it travels from one area to another the center focus has always been beneath the cracks. The very reason the crack emerged to begin with.

Today 55 miles WSW of Santa Ana, El Salvador an earthquake rumbled at the magnitude of 5.8. It was just ten more miles away SSE of GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala. During the day came an earthquake 25 miles NNW of Tocopilla, Chile that measured at 5.0.

The Guatemala earthquake only reached 5.8 not 6.0 as other news agencies suggest.

Solomon Islands are experiencing earthquake activity as well toggling between 5.0 and 5.3 in magnitude as the day closes.

All by which do not compare to Haiti’s 7.0.

Mark those globes!

A true tool of a simple stand up globe can become handy as to reaching patterns in result.

You may not have the instruments that the USGS does at their disposal, but you can use your intelligence to predict. Whether you are right or wrong, it’s always good to explore the possibilities. For a young earthquake buff learning of an earthquake must come from basic knowledge.

California 2010 Earthquakes, Braxton Contractions

Following Haiti’s 7.0 earthquake many have kept up with the earthquake listing in hopes that nothing like this happens again without warning.

Many that know me understand my deep need for connecting earthquake dots. But when everyone looks for anything over a 5.0, I notice something different of California.

Earthquake Contractions of 2010?

Prior to a mother giving birth, she experiences contractions as sometimes they are false alarms. Today I note California’s Braxton contractions.

Puerto Rico has also had some “hits” today, but nothing larger than a 3.4 magnitude.

The largest “hit” today was a 5.6 in Sucre Venezuela.

Mapping Earthquakes Out:

- Venezuela is south, southeast of Haiti.
- Puerto Rico is the island located east of Dominican Republic. Haiti is located on the west side to Dominican Republic.
- Baja California, Mexico is south, southeast of California.

Even though this information does not conclude that an earthquake will strike at the magnitude of 7.0 as it has in Haiti. It’s always good to be aware of where earthquakes may travel to.

The Venezuela earthquake did not result in any injuries or damages.

Alaska usually receives daily earthquakes. Today they only received one. Yesterday they received three. Two days ago they received five. Three days ago they received sixteen. Four days ago they received seven. Five days ago they received five.

Three days ago Haiti was struck by that 7.0.

On January 10, 2010 California had over twenty earthquakes including an offshore 6.5.

And on January 9, 2010 Solomon Islands were the highlight of the day with a 6.0 followed by multiple aftershocks. Philippines also lands on the list of earthquakes as it remains located within the sector.

Connecting the dots is not an easy task. Without a stand-up globe it’s nearly impossible, but can be done with a full stretch map. All in all, it’s been a quiet day for the world as we still try to assist in Haiti’s 7.0 aftermath without having to worry about anything over a 5.6. Or at least for today.

Aniaka San Luis, “Mother Don’t Let Me Die…”

An 11-year-old that had been stuck under a fallen house for two days following Haiti’s 7.0 earthquake has been watched by the world through CNN.

Her dusted braids, her glasses covered fragile eyes as the screams of others cluttered the background noise in panic that the little girl would not be released. Family and friends dug her out, one hand at a time. The world around them had become victim to catastrophic damage and death.

Dead Haitian bodies lay in packs, as some of the bodies may come from other lands, while the other lifeless bodies were carted away in dump trucks and packed into ditches, coffins, and other areas where they could fit. The 7.0 earthquake had taken it’s toll on Haiti, especially in Port-au-Prince.

The little girl with the bright eyes and confused appeal looked around silently as the stones were removed slowly from above her. She was free, she was free!

The family jumped for joy as happiness soon followed, but sadness crumbled the dreams of the little girl’s future. The 11-year-old Haitian girl died shortly after being freed from the rubble.

Her last words?

“Mother don’t let me die…”.
